I recently attended my daughter’s wedding at Goldstream Group Campsite. The bento boxes were absolutely amazing in visual appeal, flavours. The beautiful presentation and lovely Japanese paper were exquisite. Many people saved the paper and began making Origami after dinner. The sushi sandwiches were delish too. The dinners arrived on time and were organized so everyone could find their order. Chef accommodated dietary requests beautifully. Don’t hesitate. 10/10

We had the Wiggly Jiggly bowl from Hide N Seek, and it was absolutely amazing! The presentation and taste were perfect—truly a delightful experience. We came back the next day for their Taiwanese coffee, and it was just as incredible. The person serving the food was so kind and even offered us a banana cake as a gesture, which was such a lovely touch. The coffee and cake were absolutely delicious. If you’re in the area, I highly recommend stopping by! This place is a gem.

I’m so glad I made the drive to try Hide N Seek because I was blown away at how good the meal was. The food, the quality, the presentation all 10/10.... honestly deserves a Michelin star. The Wiggly Jiggly was a flavour bomb with each bite. The pineapple rice pudding dessert was so refreshing and cool in the mouth I couldn’t stop eating! I have dined all over the world and without a doubt highly recommend this place.

We found the best eats in Sooke!! Honestly wasn’t expecting too much from our visit as we were just prepared for beautiful hikes, but we saw this place had 5 Stars so we stopped by on the way back and I’m so glad we did. We got two Wiggley Jiggley bowls and everything was SO GOOD. The braised pork belly was buttery smooth and had great flavour. Egg, the most perfectly done jammy egg I’ve ever seen. I didn’t even know eggs could be that texture. Not like your regular jammy egg which is still a bit liquid in the middle, but perfectly soft and creamy all the way through. Flavour, didn’t feel like it needed anything else. Was just nice as it was and easy to get a perfect bite every time. Sizeable portions— was satisfying after a few hours of hiking. I almost couldn’t finish my bowl which was nice because it meant I was full the whole day. Highly recommend this hidden gem! Note that you want the sea foam green truck with the pale pink door. They don’t really have a clear sign with their truck name. Just make sure you’re not going to the wrong food truck.
